Three Mistakes to Avoid When Choosing with a Vanity

Remodel Bathroom Perfect VanityA vanity is a central component to your bathroom. The right vanity will give you the storage you need without getting in the way. It will also fit the style and palette of your bathroom, enhancing the design of the room. To find the right vanity for your bathroom, avoid these three common mistakes:

  1. Too big: A vanity that is too big will throw off the scale of the bathroom. It will also get in the way. If it is hard to walk through the bathroom with a drawer pulled out or cabinet open, then the vanity is too big.
  2. Not enough storage: A major purpose of the vanity is to allow you to store your personal health, cleaning, and beauty products. If you have to shove everything to fit, then it may be time to upgrade.
  3. Poor position: A vanity in the wrong position may interrupt traffic in the bathroom. Consider how it fits with the other components of the bathroom, including the shower, tub, and toilet, and make sure everything fits accordingly.
