Should You Combine Remodels to Save Money?
If you’re like most homeowners, you have “dream remodel” projects all over your house, from small updates to whole-room remodels. Obviously, remodeling your whole house can be very expensive, but if you try to do your remodels piecemeal, could you end up paying more?
Consider Combining Remodels
It is likely that you can save money by combining remodels. It is much more efficient for remodeling companies to bring out their crew and sub-contractors all at once then to come back to your home multiple times over the course of years. They may be willing to give you a discount for combining remodels.
Also, if you have a lot of smaller projects in mind, these make the perfect add-ons when you bring in a remodel team to work on a bigger room remodel. A lot of remodeling companies won’t be willing to take on small jobs, like replacing cabinets or adding a tile backsplash to the bathroom. However, they will be much more willing to include smaller jobs in a larger project and may even offer a discount.
If you aren’t sure if or which remodel projects to combine, speak with your remodel company to see what they are willing to do and what discounts they offer!
